Getting USB-UIRT to work

When inserting the USB it turns up in an lsusb as "Future Technology"

I now rerun the setup wizard and install the "usb_uirt_raw" driver on "tty:/dev/ttyUSB0"

 cd lirc-0.8.2
 ./setup.sh

Selecting:

[ 1 - Driver configuration]
[ 8 - USB devices]
[ o - USB-UIRT]
[ OK ]

Continiue with

[ (x) 1 /dev/ttyUSB0 ]
[ OK ]

Save and run configure with

[ 3 - Save configuration & run configure ] 

Now I issued a make, but realized that perhaps I have to remove something before doing the make install??
